My Favorite Body Products

I was washing my face just a few minutes ago and I thought about writing an entry on my favorite body products so here I am! In no particular order:

  • St. Ives Apricot Scrub – It might be too rough for some but I love this product! I’ve been using it as long as I can remember. The packaging has changed but everything else remained the same. I even use it as a body scrub sometimes.
  • Neutrogena Deep Clean Foaming Facial Cleanser – This smells sooo good that you wouldn’t want to stop washing your face.
  • Herbal Essences Shampoo and Conditioner- I’ve only used Dangerously Straight and Totally Twisted (talk about opposite!) but I can attest that they all smell absolutely wonderful. They smell so great that it actually made me use wonderful in a sentence. The fun texts at the back are plus points too.
  • Milcu Underarm and Foot Deodorant Powder – I use this as a foot powder and it works great. Try it out and you’ll see that it really does!
  • Head and Shoulders Shampoo and Conditioner – This is my regular shampoo and my scalp never gets sick of it. The best variant for me is Citrus Breeze. I always go for the citrus scents. Is it still available? I haven’t been seeing it around so I’ve been using Smooth and Silky.
  • Gilette Mach 3 – I’ve been using this as long as St. Ives Apricot Scrub and I know that because I got the idea of trying them out from the same article years ago. Cosmo Beauty Awards as I recall. At least 6 years ago…or maybe even more. My razor has fallen 7 feet so many times already and it’s still good as new.
  • Clean Shampoo Fresh Hair Fragrance – I have 2 bottles of these, the other hasn’t been opened yet. Maybe I should sell it on Ebay? The fragrance is so concentrated that you only need 1 or 2 spritzes for short to medium hair and 3 for long. Mine’s a little over a third left and that would probably last 2 years if I use it sparingly.
  • Leyende Teatotal La Colonia Fresca – Aahh… I just took a whiff of my empty bottle of Teatotal and it reminded me of how awesome this cologne is. It smells so good that if you wear it after a week of no bath (coupled with Clean Shampoo Fresh Hair Fragrance), not a single soul would notice. It smells so good that if you wear it and walk around a trash heap, you’d think you were walking in a field of flowers. It smells so good that when I took a whiff, it gave me butterflies. That last one’s for real. And maybe the first one too. This is the opposite of Clean. A bottle would last me a month. (Just added myself as a fan on Facebook and a follower on Twitter! *fangirl shriek*)
  • Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Fragrance Mist – This just reminds me of the beach. Whenever I spray it on, I’m reminded of the sun, sand and Justin’s Hawaiian Tropic suntan. But for some weird reason, I don’t like wearing it when it’s really hot outside. I don’t know why. I’ll try to figure it out if it’s really hot later and chances are, it will be. I kinda like the old packaging better too.

Old packaging. It was called "Body Splash".

New packaging. It's now a "fragrance mist". Very girly now.

  • Pure & Natural Cleansing Rosemary and Mint Body Wash – Can there be an even better smelling body wash? I believe not! This is absolutely the best smelling good-for-the-planet body wash ever. Maybe even the best smelling body wash. Period. Maybe! Try it out and decide for yourself. Squeeze a very small amount (believe me, it’s enough) into your loofah and lather away! You’d want everyone to smell your skin once you step out of the bathroom. A great product, no doubt.

So those are my favorite products that I came up with at the top of my head. I may come up with a part 2 or even 3 or maybe some other list. Who knows?

Post about the Sassa Swimwear 2010 Collection soon! Someone else is writing it. Oooh… Who could it be?
